Nara Choinzon

I grew up in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. I moved to Colorado with my family about 25 years ago.
I live in Aurora, CO with my husband and daughter Ashley. I’ve been sewing since I was 18. I learned how to sew in Russia where I studied tailoring and alterations. I most enjoy making various garments like wedding dresses and pageant gowns. My favorite fabric pattern is florals.
I listen to Russian and Mongolian music while I sew. I have 2 daughters and 4 grandkids, and a miniature pinscher named Rusty. I enjoy taking care of my four grandkids while my eldest daughter is out working.
I own a tailoring company called June’s Tailors and Alterations; however, we have moved our business to my home because of the pandemic.
